We love treating our partners and friends to Wine Country hospitality days whenever we can swing it. Most recently, we had a fantastic group of folks on board from Inn on Randolph, Yelp, A Woman's Palate/RARECAT Wines, and Hotel Council San Francisco. We value these local businesses and organizations and the relationships we've built with them since Verve's inception in 2012. This time around, we had the pleasure of visiting some of our favorite area wineries — Tamber Bey Vineyards, Kelham Vineyards and Winery, and Jericho Canyon Vineyard — all three of these destinations continue to be standouts for Verve guests and never disappoint. They also happen to be family-owned and operated businesses that offer distinctive and relatively small production wines that we love. We were also lucky enough to sample and share the handmade gluten-free fare for lunch from a brand new eatery called Cate & Co. located in downtown Napa's community food hub, the Oxbow Public Market. Here are a few shots from our fabulous day out in the Valley!

Here at Verve, it's not all work and no play! We believe in team-building fun which sometimes includes trips to our favorite partner wineries, restaurants, and inns, as well as taking lunch and cooking breaks. The ladies of Verve recently stepped out of the office and into the garden to harvest our winter garden, located at Verve HQ. There are fruit-bearing trees galore — Meyer lemon, persian lime, persimmon, blood orange — you name it, we've got it!

Verve's Founder and Curator-in-Chief, T, maintains this beautiful garden year-round and this season's abundance meant getting creative with the crop! Dried chiles and persimmons were some team favorites this year...

After Napa's recent cold snap, we're patiently awaiting the collard greens to grow…but until then, we'll be enjoying (and SHARING) all the homegrown goodness in full bloom.

Stay tuned for more Verve adventures in the New Year!
